Effective June 1, 2007, Prevea Health Network participants may access three Select Specialty Hospitals located in Milwaukee, West Allis, and Madison. Long-term acute care hospitals (LTACHs) care for patients who need treatment for several weeks and are slightly less ill than those in regular hospitals' intensive-care units.
