Providers are at the heart of Prevea Health Network. Because your focus is on improving the health of your patients, we want to make the "administrative" side of your practice as easy to manage as possible.

Customer Service

A local entity with easily accessible, personalized service designed to retain a strong and solid relationship between PHN and its providers. It is a key service aimed at meeting provider needs and ensuring that the mission of PHN is being carried out:

Serves as a provider advocate to facilitate claims issues between the provider and payor
Reviews and resolves provider issues
Channels communications from PHN to providers
Conducts provider education and training on PHN policies, programs, and procedures

Patient Volume

PHN has a number of different procedures in place to maximize PPO steerage.

The PHN network is offered through a number of entities including commercial insurance carriers, self-funded employer groups, TPA's, and Regional PPO Networks.
PHN offers a structured comprehensive provider network allowing for delivery of quality care creating value for participating providers.
Patients choosing a PHN participating provider receive a higher level of benefit coverage and realize substantial savings over a provider selected from outside the PPO network.
Our PPO providers are marketed in a variety of ways, including PHN directories and our web site.

Reduction in Patient Billing

PHN contracts are structured to facilitate timely payments to participating providers.

All charges are submitted directly to Payors contracted with PHN on standardized billing forms
or electronically.
All claims are adjudicated in a more timely manner.

Patient identification

PHN network participants carry a health insurance identification card that includes the Prevea Health Network, Network Health Prevea PPO, IHG, or ChoiceCare logos. The ID card also includes contact information and the address for mailing claims.

Encourage your patients to verify benefits before seeking care so they can receive the maximum coverage afforded by their insurance plan.

Participation regulations

PHN has no policies restricting you from joining other health care organizations.
